Total sanctioned strength of students is 120, including 20 seats reserved for the students belonging to the Kannada Linguistic Minority of Kasaragod Taluk . Twenty percent of remaining 100 seats ie.,20 seats are reserved for departmental candidates
Admission is purely on merit basis and keeping reservation rules . Admission to the 100 seats including minority reservation is done on the basis of alottment by the Controller of Entrance Examinations ,Kerala . Admission to the departmental quota done from the list of qualified candidates supplied by the Director of Public Instruction ,Kerala
