College library is an asset to our institution with 18000
titles. College has a general library and eight departmental
libraries, associated with each optional department. In
addition to these an Electronic section of library (CD library)also
is functioning as a part of general library. A separate
section is devoted for Dissertations in general library.
A section consisting of NCTE Documents also is a part of
the library . Number of books are added to our library in
the current year is 428. An amount of Rs.15600/ has been
allotted by UGC for purchase of books . A proposal to UGC
for inclusion into UGC infonet scheme, which provides free
access to about 4000 e-journals is underway. Most of the
books in the library are of reference quality . There is
a vast collection of Dictionaries & Encyclopedias in
the library . Separate seating arrangement is provided for
M.Ed. students . Library has Internet connectivity , LAN
facility and facility to take computer print outs .Photocopying
facility is attached with the college office. The library
has a seating facility for 30 students at a time , 15 seats
are added as a separate section for the new course.
